Can we use electronic versions of Springer journals for Inter-Library Loan (ILL) requests?

For the Americas:
Yes, if you have a Springer license in the Americas, you may digitally transfer journal articles and book chapters to fulfill ILL requests. Follow Fair Use and CONTU guidelines on the appropriate amount of such ILL activity. If you do not have a Springer license in the Americas, you should fulfill article and chapter requests via postal or faxed fulfillment in print format. Electronic journal articles may be printed then sent via post, fax or faxed-based services to fulfill ILL requests from academic, research or other non-commercial libraries.

For Rest of the World:
Yes, but only in print format. Electronic journal articles may be printed then sent via post, fax or faxed-based services (e.g. Ariel or Prospero) to fulfill ILL requests from academic, research or other non-commercial libraries.
