Missing issues from the issue count

Information displayed in the right hand column of a journal home page on SpringerLink (see example below) regarding the number of issues available refers to the number of separate links we have to issue content. Therefore a combined issue (e..g. Issue 4-5) will have one link and therefore be counted as one issue in the count, not two issues. Equally, a link to a supplement issue will also be counted as one issue.


We do recognise that this can be a little misleading and we apologise for any confusion caused, but can reassure readers that all the issues we have in our archives are available.
