MyNature profile alerts & notifications

The Alerts and notifications settings allows users to sign up and manage the journals they receive E-alerts for. Account holders can also review and change the marketing communication preferences.

 

To manage your E-Alert settings

1) ensure you are logged into your Nature Account and select “Manage account” from the Account drop down on the Nature homepage.

2) Select Alerts and notifications

3) Select E-alerts for Nature.com (including journal alerts and newsletters

 

This will direct you to a list of our journals filtered by scientific field, along with recommended alerts based on the type of account you have and Newsletter or Communities notifications.

4) Use the drop down button of the field of interest in order to select the titles you wish to add to your E-Alerts.

5) Select the journal e-alert by clicking on the tick box adjacent to the journal title. These can be amended at anytime.

6) Select Save to complete the changes.

 

To manage your marketing communication preferences

 1) Select Opt in/ out of product information, special offers and third party promotions on Nature.com

This will direct you to the professional information form to enter details that generate the recommended E-Alerts. The required details to use the recommended e-alerts feature are; Affiliation/ Employer, Location, Job title, Industry and Area of interest. Additional fields Specialties and Other Specialties may also be entered if available.


2) Apply your details accordingly to the form

3) Select “Opt-in to receive updates on our new journal launches and other engaging content” to be sent product information and special offers. 


4) Select “Receive occasional updates from our partners on products of services that may be of interest to you.” If you would like to be sent Third party promotions.

5) Then select Save which will update your account or Cancel if you change your mind.

We collect and use personal data to provide the service or product you have requested and to keep you informed about other products and services. We may also use this personal data within Nature Research and share it with our affiliated companies as well as third party publishing, services and marketing partners. We will not otherwise disclose your data outside the group unless we have your permission as detailed in our Privacy Policy. 

 

If you have unsubscribed from any alerts and are still receiving them, please submit a query to our Online Service team via our online webformPlease attach a copy of the most recent email alert you have received which will enable us to resolve the matter for you as quickly as possible.
