APC waivers and discounts may be offered in cases of financial need for articles submitted to fully open access journals.
All applications*, for discretionary APC waivers should be made at the point of manuscript submission. Our online submission systems will allow you to indicate your interest in waivers or discounts. You may select a check box in the Declarations/Additional Information section that will direct you to the discount request screen. Be advised that this does not in-and-of-itself enter the request, you will need to later follow the link provided at the end of the submission process (and separately via email) to submit the request itself. A decision on the discount will normally be made within two working days.
