For your eBooks: MARC records and Excel title lists

We license eBooks in many different groups. How to get MARC records and Excel title list for some of the “licensing models” is explained below. To understand which models you license, check your contract or contact your licensing manager. If your model is not listed here, contact your licensing manager to get MARC records or an Excel title list.

eBook Collections

1. Go to the books page on Springer Nature Metadata.

2. Under “Collections”, select your collections.

3. Under “Copyright Years”, select the copyright years you have licensed.

4. If you don’t want to include Gold Open Access eBooks, filter them out.

5. If your license does not include static and/or living reference works, filter them out.


Reference modules

1. Go to the books page on Springer Nature Metadata.

2. Under “Collections” > “Reference Modules”, select your modules.

3. Under “Copyright Years”, select the copyright years you have licensed.

4. If you don’t want to include Gold Open Access eBooks, filter them out.

Note: Don’t use the Reference Works filters.


Single eBooks

1. Go to the books page on Springer Nature Metadata.

2. Open “ISBNs to include or exclude”.

3. Paste the ISBNs (print or online) of your licensed eBooks into the field “ISBNs to include”.


Springer reference

1. Go to the books page on Springer Nature Metadata.

2. Select all collections under “Reference Modules”.

3. Select all contemporary copyright years as well as All Springer Book Archives and All Palgrave Book Archives.


Access and Select

1. Go to the books page on Springer Nature Metadata

2. Select all collections under “Collections (R0)”.

3. Under “Copyright Years”, select the copyright years you have licensed.


Springer Content on Demand

1. Go to the books page on Springer Nature Metadata.

2. Select all collections under “Collections (R0)”.

3. Select all contemporary copyright years and, if your license includes archive content, also all archive options.
